Tesis Silam Ottoman 1730-1734

Pada 1730 berlaku pemberontakan yang akhirnya menjatuhkan Sultan Ahmed III dari tampuk kuasa. Pemebrontakan tersebut diketuai oleh wazir Patrona Halil. Ada sebuah tesis silam ditulis pada 1930 yang membincang sama rebellion yang berlaku di empayar Ottoman. Tesis bertajuk “The Ottoman Empire from 1730 to 1734 as revealed in the despatches of Angelo Emo, Venetian Bailo”. Tesis phd tersebut ditulis oleh Mary Lucille Shaw, Illinois University.
